blondewalk bunny chow

Easter bunny chow - blondewalk
Considering Easter is only a few weeks away, we wanted to share our favourite Easter treat – bunny chow! You only need four ingredients and it is incredibly simple to put together. We first made it for Palmer’s bunny birthday and it was a huge hit. As an alternative to gifting chocolate, this year we plan to create packages of bunny chow for our family and friends.

  • 4 cups of kettle corn
  • 5 cups of rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups of spring M&Ms or mini eggs
  • 12 ounces of Wilton white melting chocolate (available at Walmart or bulk barn)

  1. Pour the kettle corn and cereal into a large bowl.
  2. Melt the white melting candy according to the directions on the package. Once melted and smooth, pour over the cereal and kettle corn. Use a large rubber spatula to gently stir and coat everything well.
  3. Add the M&Ms to the bowl and gently stir to coat.
  4. Spread mixture on a large nonstick surface (like a silicone baking mat or parchment paper) to allow to cool and harden (10-20 minutes).
  5. Break into pieces for serving or packaging.

Happy Easter!
